What you will do
- Provide expert support for hospital inpatient NTAP implementation and billing practices.
- Collaborate with sales teams to facilitate product adoption and provide guidance on coverage and payment policies.
- Engage in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) activities to demonstrate product value.
- Establish and maintain relationships with hospital administrators and reimbursement decision-makers.
- Analyze claims data to identify root causes of denials and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure organizational adherence to reimbursement regulations and compliance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in healthcare reimbursement, preferably with inpatient medical devices.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in customer-facing roles such as sales or account management.
- In-depth knowledge of inpatient and outpatient coding and billing (UB-04, charge master).
- Familiarity with reimbursement mechanisms like NTAP.
- Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.
