Salary: $138,000 – $172,500

What you will do
- Review operational, financial, and technology processes to assess business risks and internal control effectiveness.
- Oversee internal audit outsourcing and co-sourcing engagements for healthcare clients.
- Manage risk identification processes, including the evaluation and testing of business controls.
- Collaborate with client management to implement strategies for process optimization, cost reduction, and fraud prevention.
- Perform engagement management including project scheduling, financial oversight, and quality review.
- Lead business development activities and mentor project staff through performance reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or MIS; Master’s in Public Health or Health Administration preferred.
- 5+ years of consulting experience with cross-industry clients at a national level.
- 4+ years of direct experience with life sciences or healthcare providers (hospitals, payers, medical centers).
- Required certifications: CPA, CISA, CISSP, CIA, or CISM.
- Proficiency with EHR systems, specifically Epic and/or Cerner.
- Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Section 404 compliance and regulatory bodies like OIG and CMS.
