TL;DR

Director of Human Resources (SaaS): Leading HR operations and talent acquisition to drive a culture of excellence and compliance with an accent on performance management, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness. Focus on scaling people processes, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes, and supporting a fast-moving, high-growth environment.

Location: Fully remote based in United States (Eastern/Central Time preferred)

Salary: $170k-$200k annually plus equity

What you will do

  • Set and reinforce clear expectations for excellence and accountability.
  • Provide guidance to managers on organizational and people challenges.
  • Lead performance management processes and equip managers to address underperformance.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop recruiting strategies and improve hiring processes.
  • Oversee and improve HR systems, policies, and the employee handbook.
  • Lead initiatives impacting business output, including job architecture and salary benchmarking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional HR experience, with 3+ years in a senior HR or People Operations capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. labor law, EEO compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience managing complex employee relations.
  • Excellent communication and ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Experience in the SaaS industry or fast-growing startup environments.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with international HR operations (e.g., Canada, Europe, LATAM).
  • Process improvement, systems implementation, or HR tech optimization.
