TL;DR

Director - Workforce Experience and Operations (Education): Leading execution of workforce processes and communications for the AP Reading event with an accent on onboarding, registration, and communication workflows. Focus on operationalizing workforce strategy, establishing process governance, and ensuring seamless live support during seasonal peaks.

Location: Fully remote within the USA; candidates near offices have the option of a hybrid schedule (Tuesday and Wednesday in office).

Salary: $80,000–$130,000

What you will do

  • Oversee Reader workforce processes, including onboarding readiness, invitation and registration support, and scheduling coordination.
  • Own the communication delivery frameworks and source-of-truth practices for all Reader-facing messaging.
  • Ensure operational readiness by preparing tools, tracking structures, and communication pathways before the Reading cycle.
  • Partner with Session Leads and Site Logistics to manage the transition from planning to live execution for onsite and remote workers.
  • Coordinate with workforce vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure scalable and consistent process delivery.
  • Activate contingency pools and resolve rapid issues related to registration, policy, or compensation during live operations.

Requirements

  • Authorization to work in the United States for any employer
  • Experience running complex, high-volume operational processes with a focus on participant experience.
  • Expertise in communication governance and issue triage.
  • Comfort learning and applying new AI-driven solutions and digital tools independently
  • Ability to maintain pragmatic judgment and fast response times during seasonal peak periods.
  • Strong collaboration skills to bridge strategy, policy, and execution.
