What you will do
- Coordinate administrative operations and staff workflows for the Year 1 & 2 Pre-Clinical Education team.
- Manage student placements, schedules, and preceptor recruitment for the Family Medicine curriculum.
- Lead operational preparedness for curricular sessions, assessments, and Objective Structured Clinical Exams (OSCEs).
- Ensure strict adherence to accreditation standards and policies for student records and accommodations.
- Facilitate provincial planning meetings and synchronize administrative processes across multiple sites.
- Oversee teaching payment tracking and maintain confidential databases for faculty and student activities.
Requirements
- High school graduation and two years of post-secondary education.
- Over 4 years of experience in administrative program support within a university or large healthcare organization.
- Ability to work onsite at Okanagan campus and travel to hospital/clinic sites as required.
- Flexibility regarding work hours, including availability after regular hours.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage complex, high-stakes projects under pressure.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams/SharePoint).
Nice to have
- Previous experience in an undergraduate medical program.
- Extensive knowledge of medical school curriculum and university policies.
- Familiarity with rural and urban communities in British Columbia.
