TL;DR

Compensation: $24.50 – $29.00 per hour

hirify.global is a medtech company pioneering an integrated approach to stroke recovery using FDA-cleared brain-computer interface technology.

What you will do

  • Conduct patient-facing financial counseling regarding insurance benefits, coverage, and out-of-pocket costs.
  • Perform insurance eligibility verification for Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial plans.
  • Guide patients through income-based cash-pay program enrollment and tier qualification.
  • Establish payment plans and evaluate eligibility for financial assistance programs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions in compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Cycle and Patient Services teams to resolve billing issues.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in medical billing, insurance verification, or patient financial services.
  • Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance benefit structures.
  • Proficiency with insurance eligibility verification systems and medical billing software.
  • Strong understanding of durable medical equipment (DME) billing practices.
  • Employment eligibility to work in the United States is required; no sponsorship provided.

Nice to have

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or Business.
  • Certification as a Certified Patient Account Representative (CPAR).
  • Bilingual capabilities, specifically Spanish.
  • Prior experience in a startup or with neurological rehabilitation medical devices.
