TL;DR

Customer Care Advocate (Medtech): Providing empathetic, high-volume support to patients and providers regarding cardiac health solutions with an accent on insurance verification, benefits investigation, and troubleshooting. Focus on maintaining high service standards, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and managing complex patient inquiries in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Location: Must be based in the US. Occasional in-office attendance may be required for those within 45 minutes of an hirify.global location.

Salary: $20.60 - $25.75 per hour

What you will do

  • Deliver empathetic, personalized support to patients and providers via phone and email.
  • Verify insurance coverage, investigate benefits, and discuss payment options with patients.
  • Troubleshoot product, service, and enrollment issues with urgency and sensitivity.
  • Document all interactions and coverage details accurately within Salesforce.
  • Ensure all service requests comply with FDA regulations and HIPAA privacy standards.
  • Participate in virtual team meetings and cross-training to enhance service quality.

Requirements

  • Must be based in the US.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2–3+ years of customer service experience in a high-volume contact center.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to type 40+ WPM.
  • Ability to work a Sunday - Thursday (3pm - 11:30pm CST) shift.
  • Reliable high-speed internet (min 50 Mbps upload / 150 Mbps download).

Nice to have

  • Experience in healthcare, medical devices, or patient-focused environments.
  • Background in health insurance, reimbursement, or financial counseling.
  • Prior experience with Salesforce CRM.
