Presales Solution Architect (Amazon Connect)

Location: 100% remote, based in North America; up to 30% travel for customer and partner meetings.

Salary: $110,000–$150,000 per year, plus potential annual incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Serve as the technical subject matter expert for AWS and Amazon Connect solutions in customer conversations.
• Design cohesive, integrated solutions across AWS and ISV platforms including Verint, PEGA, and Salesforce.
• Lead technical discovery, workshops, demonstrations, proposals, RFP responses, and Statements of Work throughout the sales cycle.
• Collaborate with Business Development on opportunity strategy and territory planning.
• Educate customers, partners, and peers on AWS capabilities and customer experience technologies.
• Help customers expand beyond Amazon Connect into services such as EKS, SageMaker, Bedrock, S3, and EC2.

Requirements

• 3+ years of customer-facing technical presales experience designing complex solutions, such as in a Sales Engineer or Solution Architect role.
• 3+ years of expertise with Amazon Connect and AWS.
• 7+ years of experience in information technology or application development.
• Relevant AWS certifications or accreditations.
• Strong ability to translate technical recommendations into business value through verbal communication, presentations, and proposals.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working with customers and partners.
