TL;DR

Account Executive (SaaS): Driving new business acquisition and managing complex sales cycles for a full-stack observability platform with an accent on technical solution selling and stakeholder engagement. Focus on building pipelines, articulating platform value to senior technical leadership, and delivering consistent revenue growth.

Location: Must be based in the Bay Area and able to work from the office 2-3 days per week.

Compensation: $280,000–$320,000 OTE.

What you will do

  • Collaborate with solution engineers to execute complex, technical sales cycles.
  • Proactively engage with CTOs, CIOs, and engineering leadership to generate new business pipelines.
  • Deliver compelling presentations demonstrating how the platform solves specific customer challenges.
  • Manage the full business lifecycle of sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain territory business plans with accurate forecasting.
  • Travel within the US to visit prospects and attend industry events.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a new business hunter in SaaS companies working with technical audiences.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be based in the Bay Area with the ability to work onsite 2-3 days per week.
  • Experience in sales of observability, log analytics, monitoring, or APM is a significant advantage.
  • Experience in sales of cloud-based technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a significant advantage.
