What you will do

  • Lead resolution of squeak, rattle, and water ingress issues across vehicle programmes.
  • Apply structured problem-solving methodologies like 8D and RCA to identify root causes.
  • Analyze complex datasets to translate findings into actionable engineering solutions.
  • Drive issue resolution through cross-functional collaboration with Design, Manufacturing, and Supplier Quality teams.
  • Support whole-vehicle testing activities and validation programmes.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Proven experience in automotive engineering, specifically within NVH or vehicle refinement.
  • Strong problem-solving capability using tools such as 8D, Fishbone, FTA, 5 Whys, and PDCA.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience analyzing data to drive evidence-based decisions.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Squeak & Rattle or Water/Air Ingress specific standards.
  • Understanding of automotive manufacturing processes.
  • Experience with vehicle testing and validation.
  • Intermediate skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
