What you will do

• Produce high-quality technical reports for motor claims.
• Assess, value, and negotiate repair costs and total loss settlements.
• Provide precise vehicle valuations and apply knowledge of salvage categories.
• Liaise with field planning teams, repairers, and customers to resolve complaints.
• Ensure all reporting timescales remain within established SLAs.
• Inspect a wide range of vehicles including cars, HGVs, agricultural implements, and caravans.

Requirements

• Must be qualified to a minimum of I.A.E.A or ATA (VDA) standard.
• Hands-on experience in an engineering function within an insurer or independent firm.
• Solid experience using industry-standard estimating systems such as Audatex and Glassmatix.
• Strong understanding of the wider claims management process.
• Must be based in the UK.
