What you will do
- Carry out routine maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns on wafer-fab systems.
- Perform root-cause analysis to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
- Plan and execute preventative maintenance using the factory MES platform.
- Manage spare parts inventory to ensure operational readiness.
- Analyze KPIs to identify opportunities for maintenance program improvements.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external specialists to maintain high equipment performance.
Requirements
- Must be able to work a 12-hour shift pattern (4 on 4 off, rotating days and nights).
- Completed a mechanical/electrical apprenticeship and educated to C&G / ONC standard or equivalent.
- Proven experience in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage own workload.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Desire to progress into a specialist Equipment Engineer role.
Nice to have
- Experience with vacuum, pneumatic, or actuation systems.
- Previous experience in the semiconductor industry or similar fast-paced manufacturing settings.
