What you will do

  • Carry out routine maintenance and respond to equipment breakdowns on wafer-fab systems.
  • Perform root-cause analysis to resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
  • Plan and execute preventative maintenance using the factory MES platform.
  • Manage spare parts inventory to ensure operational readiness.
  • Analyze KPIs to identify opportunities for maintenance program improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external specialists to maintain high equipment performance.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work a 12-hour shift pattern (4 on 4 off, rotating days and nights).
  • Completed a mechanical/electrical apprenticeship and educated to C&G / ONC standard or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage own workload.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Desire to progress into a specialist Equipment Engineer role.

Nice to have

  • Experience with vacuum, pneumatic, or actuation systems.
  • Previous experience in the semiconductor industry or similar fast-paced manufacturing settings.
