What you will do

• Lead and oversee daily customs brokerage operations to ensure timely and accurate shipment clearance.
• Ensure full compliance with customs laws, tariff classification, valuation, and regulatory filings.
• Manage customs audit support, penalty mitigation, and internal quality reviews.
• Act as a senior escalation point for customer issues and lead service improvement initiatives.
• Mentor, coach, and develop customs brokerage staff to build a high-performance culture.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in workflows and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in customs brokerage or trade compliance.
• Proven leadership experience managing customs teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Deep knowledge of customs regulations, tariff classification, valuation, and import/export compliance.
• Experience in freight forwarding or international logistics.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer management skills.
• Experience with CargoWise or similar brokerage platforms is preferred.
