Salary: $89,000 – $102,000 per year

What you will do
- Design and develop transportation projects for state highways and local roads.
- Prepare design concepts, reports, plans, specifications, and estimates (PS&E) construction documents.
- Support construction activities and ensure compliance with project scopes, budgets, and schedules.
- Coordinate with clients, agency staff, and consultants under the direction of the Project Manager.
- Mentor and train junior staff in technical skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Current California registration as a licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
- Minimum of three years of qualifying transportation design engineering experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and familiarity with Caltrans standards.
- Experience preparing preliminary design reports, design plans, specifications, quantities, and estimates.
- Must be based in or able to work from the San Luis Obispo office at least 3 days per week.
