What you will do

• Plan, develop, and implement transportation projects including roadways, highways, bridges, airports, and transit systems.
• Prepare construction documents and conduct site inspections for design accuracy.
• Analyze traffic flow patterns and develop solutions for safety improvements.
• Coordinate with contractors, public agencies, DOT, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to technical reports, proposals, and project tasks impacting urban and rural areas.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field with transportation emphasis
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; North Dakota PE license or obtain within 12 months
• 3-6 years relevant experience in transportation or civil engineering design and consulting
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and OpenRoads Designer
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to analyze traffic flow and model infrastructure solutions
