What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, and execute boundary, topographic, and construction surveying projects.
• Supervise and mentor junior surveyors and field crews to ensure objectives are met.
• Prepare and review survey maps, plats, and legal descriptions.
• Utilize advanced surveying equipment and software to collect and analyze spatial data.
• Ensure all activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to support project requirements.

Requirements

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in the state of California.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
• Proficiency in using GPS, total stations, and data collectors.
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in San Luis Obispo, California.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities to lead field teams.
