What you will do

  • Conduct surveys to determine property boundaries, topography, and site data using advanced equipment like GPS and total stations.
  • Prepare topographic maps, deliver detailed reports, and provide construction stakeout services for infrastructure projects.
  • Interpret legal documents, establish property boundaries, and ensure compliance with all regulations.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and clients while overseeing and mentoring junior surveyors.
  • Review ALTA surveys, boundary and topographic surveys, and manage external consultants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, geography, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of land surveying experience
  • Professional Land Surveyor license in at least one state
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and company-specific software.
  • Strong understanding of ALTA/NSPS standards, boundary law, real property legal descriptions, title commitments, and easements.
  • Self-motivation, problem-solving skills, and excellent verbal/written communication.
