What you will do

• Conduct boundary, topographic, ALTA/ASCM, and construction layout surveys.
• Determine precise locations of roads, buildings, utilities, and real estate boundaries.
• Operate survey instruments including robotic total stations, laser scanners, and GPS.
• Process field data using survey computer programs and maintain accurate field notes.
• Prepare survey sites by removing obstacles such as debris and brush.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Knowledge of surveying instruments and equipment, including their use and care.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Columbus, OH.
• Ability to carry equipment weighing 50+ lbs and work on rough terrain in all weather conditions.

Nice to have

• Experience with civil engineering software including MicroStation and Civil 3D.
• Surveyor Intern or Professional Land Surveyor certification.
