What you will do

• Perform boundary, topographic, right-of-way, and construction surveys for roadways, bridges, and civil projects.
• Conduct field surveys using GPS, robotic total stations, levels, and data collectors.
• Prepare plats, survey maps, alignments, legal descriptions, and construction staking.
• Manage survey control networks, benchmarks, and ensure MDOT/SHA compliance.
• Process field data and produce deliverables using survey and CAD software.
• Coordinate with project teams, engineers, contractors, and government agencies while maintaining records and supporting schedules.

Requirements

• Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) / State Highway Administration (SHA) project experience.
• Maryland license required.
• Experience with field surveying tools: GPS, robotic total stations, levels, data collectors.
• Proficiency in survey and CAD software for data processing and deliverables.
• Knowledge of roadway and civil engineering plans interpretation.
• Compliance with safety standards and accurate documentation.
