General Manager - The Woodlands

Location: TX - Houston; onsite studio management with weekend and holiday availability required

What you will do

• Hire, develop, lead, and motivate the studio team through coaching, feedback, and training.
• Deliver the Herman Miller Client Experience through product demonstrations, quoting, and sales generation.
• Manage store revenue, sales performance, merchandising, visual presentation, and the store sales plan.
• Oversee studio operations, including shipments, scheduling, supplies, controllable expenses, and profit goals.
• Handle employee relations and performance management in partnership with Human Resources and the Regional Manager.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of retail management experience.
• Strong verbal, written, organizational, interpersonal, listening, and people-management skills.
• Ability to inspire teams in a high-traffic environment and build relationships with staff, peers, and clientele.
• Financial literacy, business acumen, and experience managing budgets.
• Experience with POS systems, Microsoft Office, web navigation, and 3-D rendering programs.
• Ability to routinely move objects weighing more than 20 pounds and follow safety requirements.
