TL;DR

Location: Remote (Must be based in North America — US & Canada)

Salary: $160,000 – $170,000

ZOLL Itamar is an innovative medical device company specializing in Home Sleep Apnea Tests, specifically the WatchPAT family of devices.

What you will do

  • Manage the US reimbursement team and external consultants to resolve field issues and support sales.
  • Monitor and analyze policies for over 300 US payers to increase product coverage and reimbursement rates.
  • Negotiate with insurance companies regarding claim denials and policy updates.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive market access and reimbursement strategy for the Canadian market.
  • Conduct reimbursement training for new hires and provide ongoing support to the field force (ABDs, RSMs).
  • Collaborate with the VP of Strategic Planning & Health Economics and sales leadership to align goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a health-related or similar field.
  • 5+ years of experience in reimbursement or a comparable role.
  • Proven experience in Cardiovascular or Sleep Apnea is required.
  • Experience dealing directly with insurance companies and payers.
  • Ability to lead, monitor, and mentor a professional team.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and professional communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Professional Coding Certification.
  • Experience specifically with medical device reimbursement.
  • Proficiency with payer monitoring tools such as Policy Reporter.
