TL;DR
Senior Software Engineer (Fintech): Building robust, scalable financial products for small businesses with an accent on C#/.NET development, end-to-end ownership, and distributed systems. Focus on shaping architecture, writing unit and integration tests, collaborating across product and QA, and mentoring engineers.
Location: Hybrid in London, with engineering teams working from the Moorgate office 2 days per week

What you will do
- Design and build robust, scalable solutions using C# and .NET.
- Own the full software development lifecycle from concept and implementation through production monitoring and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical direction.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, QA Engineers, and Software Engineers in cross-functional teams.
- Develop unit and integration tests and maintain a high standard of code quality.
- Communicate technical decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders while mentoring other engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with C#, .NET, and SQL Server.
- Strong unit and integration testing practices.
- Experience solving complex problems in distributed systems.
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.
- Strong ownership, judgement, communication, and ability to operate with ambiguity.
- Proactive approach and commitment to improving the people and teams around you.
Nice to have
- Experience with React and TypeScript.
- Experience with .NET Core, MongoDB, Azure, GCP, Flutter, or Dart.
