What you will do

• Develop and execute strategies to grow the agriculture and ecology journal portfolio.
• Manage the peer review process and editorial decision-making for submitted manuscripts.
• Build and maintain a strong network of authors, reviewers, and board members.
• Represent the portfolio at academic conferences and research institutes.
• Drive content acquisition through desk research and active networking.
• Collaborate with internal teams to foster a culture of high performance and editorial excellence.

Requirements

• PhD in Agriculture, Agronomy, Agroecology, or a related field.
• Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal).
• Strong understanding of the scientific publishing landscape and peer-review processes.
• Proven ability to influence and engage with the scientific community.
• Willingness to travel for conferences and institute visits.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
