What you will do

• Manage and coordinate hirify.global Sport Wales social media channels from ideation through to publication.
• Produce and edit short-form video content for the website and social media platforms.
• Cover live sporting events and work within a fast-paced news environment.
• Analyze and apply the latest social media trends to enhance daily coverage.
• Contribute to the growth of Welsh sport coverage to an expanding digital audience.

Requirements

• Must identify as deaf, disabled, or neurodivergent as part of the hirify.global Extend programme.
• Strong journalistic and editorial skills with the ability to create engaging copy.
• In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and platform-specific content creation.
• Ability to edit video for digital consumption.
• Deep knowledge of Welsh sport and global sporting landscapes.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity based in Cardiff, UK.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Adobe Suite.
• Proficiency in the Welsh language.
