What you will do

• Commission high-impact Review, Perspective, and Comment articles.
• Provide developmental and line-by-line editing for authors throughout the writing and revision process.
• Organize and manage the peer-review process.
• Write Research Highlights and other editorial content.
• Liaise extensively with the scientific community through international conferences and visits.

Requirements

• PhD in a relevant computer science topic, particularly in AI research or theoretical computer science.
• Broad scientific knowledge and ability to identify emerging research trends.
• Demonstrable ability to edit text for clarity, factual correctness, and language.
• Strong writing skills and keen attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Must be based in or able to work from Berlin or Heidelberg in a hybrid model.
