What you will do

• Identify emerging trends in CSE and mathematics to shape the book portfolio.
• Solicit, evaluate, and develop book proposals, including managing the peer review process.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with authors, researchers, and academic partners.
• Negotiate publishing agreements and guide authors through manuscript preparation.
• Coordinate production handovers and act as a key contact throughout the publishing lifecycle.
• Represent the company at conferences and academic institutions to expand professional networks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
• Excellent written and spoken English proficiency.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with excellent communication abilities.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model in Milan.
• Willingness to travel for conferences and meetings.

Nice to have

• Degree or PhD in mathematics or a related STEM field, ideally within CSE.
• Prior experience in academic publishing (books or journals).
