Scrum Master III

TL;DR

Scrum Master III (Agile/SAFe): Facilitating and coaching up to two development teams to ensure adherence to Scrum principles and SAFe framework with an accent on removing impediments and fostering transparency. Focus on driving continuous improvement, guiding self-organization, and facilitating effective communication between teams and stakeholders.

Location: Must be based in Salt Lake City, Utah

Salary: $55–$60 per hour

What you will do

• Facilitate all standard Scrum ceremonies and guide teams on Agile values.
• Coach teams on self-organization and assess Scrum maturity to drive continuous improvement.
• Remove impediments beyond the team's authority and facilitate conflict resolution.
• Coordinate with DevOps, System Teams, and other Scrum Masters to ensure alignment.
• Support the Product Owner in backlog maintenance and forecasting.
• Reinforce SAFe framework practices to ensure teams achieve their objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Six years of relevant business or development support experience, including user story creation and estimation.
• First Level Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I, or SAFe Practitioner).
• Proven experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be located in or able to work onsite in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Nice to have

• Second Level Scrum Master certification (CSP, PSM II, or SAFe Advanced Scrum Master).
• Extensive experience as a Team Leader or coach.
• Knowledge of additional Agile approaches such as XP, Kanban, or FDD.
• Experience with technical Agile techniques like ATDD, TDD, and automated testing.
