Water Resources Engineer III-IV

Salary: $115,000–$125,000 per year

What you will do

• Prepare engineering reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates for water resources and civil engineering projects.
• Design municipal infrastructure for water, wastewater, stormwater, and recycled water systems.
• Conduct water and wastewater master planning, hydraulic modeling, feasibility studies, and utility design.
• Design water distribution systems, pump stations, sewer collection systems, lift stations, and treatment systems.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and support permitting processes.
• Support project management, business development, proposal preparation, and client and community engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience.
• Professional registration; a California license is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience with WaterCAD, InfoSWMM, and Aquanuity water and sewer modeling software.
• Strong knowledge of applicable engineering standards and regulatory requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with GIS databases for public agency utility systems, utility master planning, and utility atlas maps.
• Experience with ArcGIS Pro.
• Experience supporting civil, water, and wastewater design for private and commercial projects, including wineries.
