Senior Practice Engineer – Water/Wastewater

Location: Hybrid, based in Columbus, Youngstown, Cleveland, or Akron, Ohio

What you will do

• Lead and contribute to multidisciplinary water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Design and support water treatment and distribution systems.
• Design and support wastewater treatment and collection systems.
• Develop water supply storage facilities, including upground reservoirs, and pump stations.
• Perform sanitary and stormwater hydraulic modeling.
• Provide technical leadership, quality control, technical reviews, task management, proposal support, and mentorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant field.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• Extensive water and wastewater design experience.
• Ability to lead and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and mentoring skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with process modeling or hydraulic modeling software.
• Experience with task or project management.
