Maintenance Mechanic Lead

What you will do

• Assist the Manufacturing Supervisor with day-to-day maintenance department operations and department metrics (SQDCI).
• Maintain a safety and quality mindset; ensure team adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Delegate operational tasks, communicate issues to the Supervisor, and support effective department meetings.
• Serve as a technical expert to resolve production issues, including CNC-based equipment and mechanical failures.
• Manage and schedule preventive maintenance (PM) using Limble; support ordering supplies and inventory awareness.
• Mentor apprentices/maintenance personnel, facilitate training on job functions, and support new product initiatives at the maintenance level.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Understanding of and adherence to applicable laws, codes, policies, regulations, and safety practices.
• Ability to establish employment eligibility and complete background checks and required pre-employment testing.
• Ability to work onsite in Germantown, WI and perform physical requirements (including lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds and wearing required PPE/respirators).

Nice to have

• 1+ years of previous leadership experience.
• Journeyman certification or equivalent trade qualification in Industrial Mechanics/Millwright.
• 10+ years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of Continuous Pouring Equipment for Composite Production.
• Electrical minor or equivalent.
