Maintenance Mechanic Lead

What you will do

• Assist the Manufacturing Supervisor with daily maintenance department operations, labor planning, resource prioritization, and departmental metrics.
• Delegate tasks, support onboarding and coaching, facilitate training, mentor maintenance personnel, and help maintain a positive working environment.
• Manage department supplies and inventory awareness while maintaining safety, quality, productivity, policies, procedures, and workplace standards.
• Schedule, manage, and complete the preventive maintenance program using Limble.
• Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot CNC-based equipment, presses, conveyors, pumps, compressors, gearboxes, rotating equipment, motors, VFDs, servos, encoders, and motor control systems.
• Repair and install complex mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems; support FANUC robotics cells, new equipment installations, line moves, process changes, and new product initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical issues affecting presses, CNC machines, conveyors, and auxiliary equipment.
• Ability to perform precision maintenance, advanced alignment, balancing, and vibration-related mechanical work.
• Understanding of applicable laws, codes, regulations, safety practices, and company procedures.
• Must successfully establish employment eligibility and complete background checks and required pre-employment testing.
• Must work onsite in Germantown, Wisconsin, and complete required respirator pulmonary function and fit tests.

Nice to have

• At least 1 year of previous leadership experience.
• Journeyman certification or an equivalent recognized trade qualification in Industrial Mechanics or Millwright work.
• 10 or more years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of Continuous Pouring Equipment for Composite Production.
• Electrical minor or equivalent qualification.
