What you will do
- Define and manage technical architecture for customer vehicle integration, focusing on interfaces between software and OEM/Tier 1 systems.
- Translate product requirements and customer needs into actionable technical specifications and interface contracts.
- Establish clear ownership boundaries, dependencies, and assumptions for integration projects.
- Collaborate with software architects to ensure customer program needs align with core product architecture.
- Coordinate with validation engineers to define integration test requirements and ensure verifiability.
- Represent ’s technical approach in discussions with OEM and Tier 1 partners.
Requirements
- Must be based in California or Tokyo
- Expertise in technical architecture for ADAS, autonomous driving, or embedded vehicle systems.
- Strong understanding of vehicle electronics, ECU integration, real-time execution, and production software environments.
- Knowledge of automotive communication protocols such as CAN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet, or AUTOSAR.
- Experience integrating systems for automotive OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers.
- Ability to translate complex customer requirements into clear technical specifications and interface contracts.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience working as a Tier 1 supplier.
- Knowledge of generative AI, LLMs, and transformer architectures.
- Hands-on experience with embedded Linux, QNX, or custom automotive middleware.
- Experience with sensor integration (cameras, radar, IMU, GNSS).
