Product Manager (Payments)

TL;DR

Product Manager (Payments): Owning the product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for in-person payment channels and underlying infrastructure with an accent on EMV migration and payment processor integrations. Focus on driving complex technical features for public sector clients and ensuring compliance, reliability, and usability across digital and physical touchpoints.

Location: Must be based in or able to commute to Atlanta, GA (Hybrid: 3 days/week in office)

What you will do

• Own the product roadmap, backlog, and delivery for Kiosk and Cashiering point-of-sale systems.
• Lead the end-to-end EMV migration initiative, including requirements definition, hardware validation, and rollout planning.
• Define and maintain PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with engineering and QA.
• Serve as a payments domain expert, managing processor integrations and ensuring compliance with card brand rules and PCI-DSS.
• Conduct Voice of Customer research with city and county clients to identify roadmap opportunities and resolve payment friction.
• Support sales and implementation teams with RFP responses and technical scoping.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of product management experience, with at least 2 years specifically in payments.
• Working knowledge of payment processing concepts including transaction flows, card brand rules, EMV/chip, tokenization, and PCI-DSS.
• Proven ability to write high-quality Business Cases, PRDs, and User Stories for technically complex features.
• Experience managing external integrations with payment processors or third-party technology vendors.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical complexity into clear stakeholder narratives.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid capacity in the Atlanta, GA office 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with kiosk, POS, or self-service hardware products.
• Familiarity with Fiserv CardConnect, Chase Paymentech, or Card Present integration toolkits.
• Public sector or government technology experience.
• Exposure to EMV certification or terminal integration processes.
