TL;DR

Focus on bridging the gap between spacecraft manufacturing and successful launch while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Location: Must be based in Louisville, CO (Onsite). Must be a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident to comply with U.S. Government international trade regulations.

What you will do

  • Lead and develop a team of engineers, technicians, and specialists responsible for all aspects of spacecraft ground operations.
  • Direct spacecraft processing from receipt through launch, including inspections, integration, and final checkouts.
  • Oversee spacecraft integration with launch vehicles, including mating, encapsulation, and interface verification.
  • Implement and enforce hazardous operations procedures, clean room protocols, and range safety requirements.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and external launch providers to ensure mission success.
  • Develop and optimize processing flows to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
  • Typically 8+ years of relevant experience in spacecraft operations or launch integration.
  • 5+ years in a managerial or leadership role overseeing technical teams.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of spacecraft systems, launch vehicle interfaces, and ground support equipment.
  • Experience with hazardous operations, clean room protocols, and major launch site operations.
