What you will do

• Lead commercial credit underwriting, loan structuring, and portfolio risk management to ensure regulatory and policy compliance.
• Partner with Relationship Managers to evaluate new commercial lending opportunities and optimize loan approvals.
• Oversee portfolio functions including covenant monitoring, borrowing base analysis, and financial statement review.
• Direct risk rating assessments and implement problem loan resolution strategies and exit planning.
• Recruit, mentor, and manage credit analysts and underwriting teams to foster a high-performance culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 15+ years of experience in commercial lending, credit analysis, and loan underwriting within the banking industry.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing credit teams in a regulated financial institution.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, regulatory compliance, and commercial banking software.
• Ability to travel up to 25% for client and branch engagement.
