Salary: $160,000 – $205,000

What you will do

• Lead the intake and scoping process for new VPP programs, translating concepts into detailed operational designs.
• Drive implementation and delivery readiness across commercial and technical teams, owning the critical path and tracking dependencies.
• Develop scalable processes and repeatable playbooks to turn edge cases into standardized implementation frameworks.
• Own and maintain knowledge infrastructure, including SOPs, runbooks, and process flows.
• Manage programs through all phases from intake and scoping through testing, go-live, and steady-state handoff.
• Define success metrics and performance tracking frameworks to ensure programs are instrumented from day one.

Requirements

• 4–8+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives in energy, utilities, or B2B2C environments.
• Familiarity with virtual power plants (VPPs), demand response, and distributed energy resources (DERs).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
• Strong systems thinking and the ability to create structure in ambiguous environments.
• Technical fluency to coordinate confidently with Product and Engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience with project management tooling such as Notion or Jira.

Nice to have

• Experience with battery storage, EV, or smart thermostat programs.
• Background in client success or customer implementations.
• Experience working with utility DERMS or OEM partners.
• Familiarity with data analytics or CRM systems like Salesforce or HubSpot.
