TL;DR

Program Manager (Insurance): Managing the delivery of large-scale and complex projects within the insurance domain with an accent on strategic planning, oversight, and cross-functional leadership. Focus on clearing blockers, managing executive stakeholder communications, and executing strategic change management plans.

Location: Richmond, VA or Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid). US Work Authorization required; no visa sponsorship provided.

What you will do

  • Lead the execution and successful delivery of large, complex programs and projects on time and on budget.
  • Monitor program health, manage escalations, and proactively clear blockers.
  • Communicate status, risks, and critical dependencies to sponsors and executive stakeholders.
  • Facilitate multi-functional working groups and mediate challenging decisions across divisions to ensure clear direction.
  • Develop and execute strategic change management plans, including executive-level communications and customer impact analysis.
  • Matrix manage teams of associates and contractors across multiple states and disciplines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of project or program management experience.
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry and ability to translate business needs into data and technology requirements.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and working in environments leveraging Agile principles.
  • Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must have US Work Authorization; hirify.global does not provide visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • PMP or PgMP certification.
