What you will do

• Design and deliver large-scale, real-time systems with a focus on high availability and performance.
• Collaborate with product, data science, and engineering teams to build end-to-end commerce solutions.
• Review technical designs and code changes to maintain high engineering standards.
• Identify and address technical debt to ensure long-term system health.
• Utilize monitoring and observability tools to maintain operational ownership of services.
• Mentor team members to foster technical growth and excellence.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of experience in software development with modern programming languages.
• Experience with software design, architecture, and building for scalability.
• Practical experience using AI coding assistants and evaluating generated code for quality and security.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience building distributed systems or machine learning products.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
