Salary: $155,000 - $175,000 a year

What you will do

• Build, test, and maintain scalable, reliable software for Trust & Safety systems.
• Own the full development lifecycle from design through deployment and monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to implement harmful behavior detection and prevention.
• Leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Copilot) to accelerate development and enhance code quality.
• Apply responsible AI practices to ensure solutions are accurate, fair, and aligned with safety needs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience writing production-level software in at least one modern programming language.
• Ability to work independently on moderately complex problems and deliver reliable solutions.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills across teams.
• Experience with ML-assisted development workflows and experimentation.
• Must be based in Austin, TX for a hybrid schedule (onsite Monday-Wednesday).
• Must have valid US work authorization (no visa sponsorship provided).

Nice to have

• Experience with relational and non-relational databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to Trust & Safety, machine learning systems, or recommendation systems.
