TL;DR

Location: Must be based in Washington DC, Virginia, or Maryland

Salary: $110,000–$150,000 + variable commission

What you will do

  • Build and manage a pipeline of net-new enterprise opportunities within the Federal sector.
  • Lead deep discovery conversations and navigate multi-stakeholder buying committees.
  • Translate technical capabilities into business outcomes like productivity gains and risk mitigation.
  • Orchestrate multi-threaded deal cycles in partnership with Sales Engineering.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and manage the full sales cycle from discovery to close.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support successful implementations and account expansion.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience with a track record of closing enterprise-level deals.
  • Demonstrated experience selling into Federal government agencies.
  • Solid understanding of federal contract vehicles and agency procurement processes.
  • Ability to translate technical value for stakeholders including security, legal, and procurement.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, cloud platforms, and open-source ecosystems.
  • Must be located in Washington DC, Virginia, or Maryland with willingness to travel within the territory.

Nice to have

  • Experience selling developer tools, data platforms, or AI products.
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC or Challenger sales methodologies.
  • Background in high-growth startup or scaling environments.
