What you will do

• Own core CoE processes, including recruitment, placement, onboarding, and structured career growth initiatives.
• Design and implement scalable process improvements to increase organizational efficiency and drive innovation.
• Coach and mentor Engineering Leads and engineers to elevate technical seniority and professional ownership.
• Ensure high-quality delivery across software projects, identifying risks early and resolving client escalations.
• Manage complex software projects from inception to completion, ensuring stakeholder alignment and clear communication.
• Partner with People and Recruiting teams on performance reviews and support technical sales/pre-sales discovery.

Requirements

• 10+ years of total professional experience with a track record of increasing responsibility.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering roles (Full-stack, Backend, Frontend, or Platform).
• 2+ years of experience in leadership roles managing high-performing teams or complex projects.
• Advanced English proficiency (C1+) with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Mastery of system design, software architecture, code quality practices, and end-to-end SDLC ownership.
• Strong project management expertise, including agile methodologies and resource planning.

Nice to have

• Experience in consulting or client-facing environments and building technical proposals.
• Direct exposure to AI and Generative AI use cases within software engineering workflows.
• Hands-on familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.
• Proven success in scaling teams within a rapidly growing startup or Center of Excellence.
