What you will do
- Grow internal and external speaker series and tech meetups to elevate the brand.
- Build relationships within the Baltimore GovTech and civic tech communities.
- Manage the full team member experience, including recognition of milestones and inclusivity for remote staff.
- Own the end-to-end onboarding and offboarding process for new and departing hires.
- Oversee Baltimore office operations, including vendor management, supplies, and IT logistics.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in Baltimore, Maryland to manage office operations.
- 2+ years of experience in team member experience, people operations, or office management.
- Proven track record of running live, virtual, or hybrid events.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom.
- Strong communication skills across written, verbal, and public speaking channels.
Nice to have
- Experience in GovTech, civic tech, or the public sector technology space.
- Experience working at a mission-driven company or nonprofit.
- Active participation in professional communities on LinkedIn or Slack.
- Bachelor's degree.
