What you will do

• Develop and execute a comprehensive inbound logistics strategy to optimize cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers and establish performance metrics to ensure adherence to standards.
• Manage inbound transportation, warehousing, and inventory control processes to minimize lead times.
• Utilize data analytics and logistics software to monitor performance and implement continuous improvements.
• Lead cross-functional teams to coordinate material flow between procurement, production, and quality assurance.
• Ensure compliance with transportation, import/export regulations, and environmental sustainability policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in inbound logistics management within automotive or manufacturing industries.
• Strong knowledge of transportation management, inventory control, and procurement processes.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, transportation management systems (TMS), and advanced Excel.
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing and developing high-performing logistics teams.
• Excellent communication skills for building relationships with suppliers and executive management.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Professional certifications such as APICS or Six Sigma.
