What you will do

  • Own end-to-end administration of Workday Advanced Compensation, Payroll, and Benefits modules.
  • Manage daily operational support, triage break/fix issues, and implement system enhancements.
  • Lead annual cycle readiness planning, including merit cycles and open enrollment.
  • Analyze business processes to recommend and execute configuration builds, automation, and workflow improvements.
  • Build trusted advisory relationships with HR COEs and business stakeholders to influence design decisions.
  • Maintain data integrity through regular audits, security role management, and compliance checks.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in HR technology or HRIS roles, including 3+ years of hands-on Workday configuration experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Workday Advanced Compensation, Payroll, and Benefits configuration.
  • Proficiency in writing and supporting Workday reports and calculated fields.
  • Experience managing work in ticketing systems like ServiceNow and project tracking tools like Jira.
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical constraints for non-technical partners.

Nice to have

  • Workday certifications in relevant modules.
  • Experience with Workday Absence or Talent modules.
  • Exposure to integration-adjacent work and downstream payroll/benefit integrations.
