What you will do

• Lead a high-performing EHS&S team to create and sustain a distributed safety culture.
• Develop and implement a company-wide EHS&S roadmap and business model to identify needs and delivery of support.
• Align organization leadership and new employees on a common safety vision.
• Manage programs that foster environmental stewardship and integrate safe work habits across all levels.
• Develop and improve EHS&S Management Systems and continuous improvement concepts for site performance.
• Hire, coach, and mentor talent through consistent feedback and support.

Requirements

• Minimum of 20 years’ experience in EHS&S and leadership roles.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety and Occupational Health or a relevant technical discipline.
• Experience with industrial workplace hazards, hazardous materials, and scaling processes.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and design codes, including PSM, NFPA, and CGA.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Alameda, CA.

Nice to have

• High volume manufacturing experience in semiconductor, PV, chemical, or battery industries.
