What you will do
- Own the full design process from problem framing and discovery to visual design, prototyping, and handoff.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and clinical teams to shape requirements and develop solutions.
- Design accessible, user-centered experiences for native mobile (iOS/Android) and web platforms.
- Create detailed design specifications and flows that address edge cases, error states, and diverse user paths.
- Contribute to the design system to maintain consistency and quality across the product.
- Conduct user research and synthesize insights to inform actionable design decisions.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States.
- 2–4 years of experience in product or UX design, ideally within the health tech industry.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in visual design and the full product development lifecycle.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Photoshop, and creating vector-based illustrations.
- Solid foundation in interaction design and deep understanding of accessibility standards for mobile and web.
Nice to have
- Experience with photography sourcing and inclusive, on-brand imagery.
- Background in digital content design, editorial platforms, or content-forward products.
- Experience working in regulated or sensitive product spaces.
