Location: Must be based in Canada (excluding Quebec) or the United States. Hybrid work (min. 2 days/week) is expected for those near hubs in Burnaby, Calgary, or Toronto.

Salary: $148,000 – $222,000 CAD

What you will do

• Own the vision and evolution of hirify.global's design system as it transitions into an AI-first era.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to define experience strategy and high-leverage priorities.
• Lead end-to-end design for multi-surface journeys, from opportunity framing to high-quality execution.
• Develop interaction patterns for AI-powered features, including streaming states, citations, and confidence signaling.
• Mentor other designers through constructive critique, coaching, and strategic thinking.
• Drive consistency across the product ecosystem by strengthening shared patterns and frameworks.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Product Design experience.
• Must be based in Canada (excluding Quebec) or the USA.
• Proven experience designing AI-powered experiences and scalable design systems.
• Deep mastery of UX craft, including interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.
• Expertise in modern design tools (e.g., Figma) and practical fluency with AI workflow tools.
• Strong ability to align cross-functional leaders and navigate ambiguity.

Nice to have

• B2B SaaS experience.
• Grounding in content design or UX writing to develop system-level voice and tone standards.
• Experience adapting platforms for distinct customer verticals or integrating products via acquisition.
