What you will do

  • Manage entity compliance and governance across US and Canadian jurisdictions.
  • Conduct structured legal research on regulatory, consumer protection, and product-related issues.
  • Resolve complex consumer escalations and regulatory inquiries by proposing scalable solutions.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure regulatory compliance in features and policies.
  • Monitor potential IP infringements and support brand enforcement strategies.
  • Design and implement automated legal workflows using AI and low-code tools.

Requirements

  • Strong background in law (Bachelor’s, JD, LLM, or PhD).
  • Must be based in the US or Canada.
  • Proven track record of resourcefulness and independent judgment.
  • Interest in leveraging AI and technology to optimize legal processes.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and organizational rigor.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-performance, ambiguous startup environment.
