What you will do
- Lead enterprise sales strategy and revenue growth initiatives across the Japan market.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing enterprise sales team based in Japan.
- Own regional sales targets, including ACV growth, strategic account expansion, and pipeline development.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with strategic customers and partners.
- Personally manage a select group of strategic enterprise accounts within Japan.
- Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Product teams to support complex opportunities.
Requirements
- 10+ years of successful enterprise software sales experience (complex technical SaaS).
- 5+ years of sales leadership and people management experience leading enterprise teams.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets within the Japanese market.
- Business-level fluency in Japanese (spoken and written).
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Ability to travel domestically within Japan and internationally as required.
Nice to have
- Experience selling optimization, analytics, AI, or decision intelligence solutions.
- Existing relationships in manufacturing, automotive, logistics, or financial sectors in Japan.
- Experience working with channel partners, system integrators, or consulting organizations.
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft 365, and Power BI.
