What you will do

• Own complex reconciliations involving claims data across billing platforms, databases, and the general ledger.
• Validate the accuracy of claims files to support revenue recognition and client reporting.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between operational claims data and financial system outputs.
• Prepare and review month-end journal entries related to revenue, AR, and accruals.
• Partner with claims operations and billing teams to ensure upstream data integrity.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance internal controls and reporting efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Strong analytical mindset with proven experience reconciling complex datasets.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical findings to non-finance stakeholders.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or CPA-track status.
• Big 4 accounting experience.
• Experience with EHR, billing, or claims systems like Athena, NextGen, Epic, or eClinicalWorks.
