What you will do

• Apply accounting techniques and standard practices to classify and record financial transactions.
• Prepare financial and business-related analysis and reports.
• Examine and analyze accounting records to prepare financial statements.
• Serve on or lead project teams for special accounting initiatives.
• Act as a resource and mentor for colleagues with less experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5 years of relevant, progressive accounting experience.
• Proficiency with PC-based spreadsheet and data processing applications.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure independently and as part of a team.
• Must be based in Pennsylvania.

Nice to have

• Education in Accounting or a related field.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel including formatting, calculations, and pivot tables.
• Experience with bookkeeping, collections, and cash posting.
